How to Read Your Nameplate
Replacing an existing unit? Your nameplate tells you what you have and tells our team exactly what you need. The part number identifies the unit size, shaft arrangement, ratio, and input configuration of your RD. Read the tag carefully to confirm the right replacement before you order.
What the code tells you:
- Unit size – Identifies the physical size of the unit.
- Ratio- Indicates the ratio of reduction of the unit
- Shaft Arrangement – Indicates whether the output shaft is hollow or solid.
- Input Configuration – Identifies the input style and motor connection arrangement
For output torque, refer to the catalog; the part number alone does not specify torque.
Not sure what you’re looking at? Send us a photo of the nameplate and we’ll confirm the correct interchange.
